British study published a few years ago that directly contradicted the idea that identical twins share a gay gene. Researchers found that in a low minority of cases when one identical twin was gay, the other was also gay. If genes were causative, why weren’t identical twins always both gay or always both straight? But that’s not what the study revealed.
